Belen Santamaria

Belen is Spanish born but has lived abroad longer than in her home country. After obtaining a masters degree in Politics, Belen joined Goldman Sachs in 2005 where she worked in their OTC Derivatives Operations division in New York building risk management solutions for the department. She subsequently relocated to London to strengthen their risk reporting network for Asia and Europe.

Belen’s professional experience started in SG London covering emerging markets in their operations team. Since moving to Jersey in 2010 Belen has worked for an international bank in their Funds division. She also holds a Business degree and the Investment Management Certificate.

Keeping up with her two young boys is Belen’s recipe for staying fit and her favourite past time. When time is at hand Belen enjoys improving her culinary skills, watching foreign films and practicing French with her husband.
