We are excited to announce that Elizabeth Shaw has joined Affinity Private Wealth as an Associate Director within our Trust team. Her primary role will be managing key client relationships, whilst providing leadership and support to members of the trust team.
She brings with her 15 years of industry experience having practiced as a private client lawyer both onshore and offshore as well as focusing on private client tax at a leading Scottish accountancy firm.
Over the years, she has developed a strong reputation within firms and intermediaries for her combination of technical knowledge and an innate ability to convey complex issues in a clear and understandable manner. These attributes allow her to advise on complex and often sensitive matters whilst developing a good rapport with clients, intermediaries, and peers alike.
With a love for education, Elizabeth holds a degree in LLB Bachelor of Laws (with options in Accountancy), and is a STEP qualified Trust and Estate Practitioner, gaining a distinction in all papers. In addition, Elizabeth previously tutored for Aberdeen University on the DPLP Private Client course for two consecutive years. With a passion for mentoring and enjoying spending time with and assisting other members of her team, we look forward to her integrating into the business and inspiring others around her.

Family is a key priority for Elizabeth, and she spends a lot of her time out of the office with her two young daughters and husband. As a family, they love to be outdoors, they can usually be found at the beach, on a green lane or in the woods exploring.
